An Ex-Hypocrite and proud of it ( I typed this on my itouch so if there are any errors Im sorry)

So I got home from school today, I came home and I had a package waiting for me. In it was the "Ex- Hypocrite" shirt I had ordered from P4CM (big shout-out to them btw). Anyway I am an Ex-Hypocrite and proud of it. That being said there is a story/testimony behind it. I have been going to church pretty much my entire life. And although I was in church didnt mean I was acting like it. I did my own thing, and always had that excuse "Im saved so Im going to Heaven anyway". I was a major hypocrite. I claimed to be a Christian, but always did the exact opposite. Everyone knows that actions speak louder than words, and from my actions you wouldnt know I was a Christian. Recently within the past few months I have been doing some self reflection, and I realized that I was a mess on my way to Hell. So long story short I have gotten so much more serious in my walk with God thanks to my home church (Kingdom Builders Worship Center) in addition to P4CM (PAssion for Christ Movement). I am not perfect. I make mistakes, but thanks to God's grace and mercy and Jesus dying for my sins Im able to get a second chance and not die in my mess.
I know there are some of you saying, "There is no God" and "God doesnt exist", and although you are entitled to your opinion Im gonna have to disagree. I have seen way to much in my life, and I have seen people changed by the power of God. According to statistics I should be either dead, in jail, a deadbeat dad, or a dropout. By the grace of God I am none of those things. I had a gun pulled on me, but I never been shot at. I have no hood drama, Im not on the wrong side of the law, and the list goes on and on. Speaking of death, there were at least 4 times I could think of when I could have possibly died. If any of those situations happened a bit more differently than they did who knows if I would still even be here today. I know people who came out of situations that I cant even imagine getting out of. For example I had met this Vietnam vet some years back. He was telling me how after he came back from the war he was addicted to Heroin and Cocaine for a long time, and as he put it to me, " If it wasnt for the grace of God I might be dead or strung out on some corner somewhere, but Jesus saved me, and thats why Im alive today". After coming to Christ he has turned his life around, and has been clean and sober for a while now. I also (I forgot how) was talking to this ex-drug dealer who was telling me how he did everything from bag and sell, to even pulling dudes teeth out with pliers who didnt have his money. HE was telling me that after he found Jesus, he walked away from that life and now he has a great job and a loving family. Its tough for people to believe in a God they dont see, but the thing is we have faith and believe in stuff we dont see. For example I always seem to get into arguments with my friends who are Laker fans. As a Celtics fan I dont approve of their shenanigans. One of my friends said " the Lakers are gonna win it (the championship) again this year. Although I disagree and think the Thunder are gonna knock em off, they are believing in something they dont see. The Lakers havent won it yet, my friend is judging them by their track-record (what they did in the past) and what they see now. Thats what I do with God. His track-record is The Bible. And I have seen a lot of stuff to say that he's still doing some big things.
People have this image of Christians being corny, dry and annoying people. I am anything but. I have a great sense of humor and many of you who either know me in person or read this blog know that. Btw since Im talking about humor, I can tell you that there are some corny and dry Christians, but not all of us are. For example I think the "Good clean Bible jokes" book are some of the most unfunny and corny books EVER WRITTEN. The jokes inside are just not funny. I am also a cool person to be around. Im a human like everyone else, the only difference is I am a Christian who loves Jesus. Because if it wasnt for him I dont know where I could be right now.

Now heres a picture of my in the shirt.I didnt smile because smiling is so not gangster. lol (as if I even care about that garbage) Like it? huh?

I did a bit of research and I knew there was something fishy about this whole Libya fiasco

Well after doing a bit more research I am now convinced that there is something fishy going on. Lets look at Libya. Its pretty much looking like its going to be Obama's Iraq war. There are talks to invade Libya to remove Gadaffi and restore order, but doesn't that sound similar to the circumstances that led us into Iraq? Lets see...You got an evil dictator (check) that slaughters his own people (check) that doesn't have the US style of "democracy" aka isn't a puppet of the US (check), that happens to have a bunch of oil...hmmmm(check). Let me just stop here for a brief second. Do you know that Libya has the largest oil reserves in Africa? I didn't either till I just looked it up. Now think large scale. We go in under the pretense of "liberating" the people from an evil dictator, although the true goal of this is to get oil. The military industrial complex essentially runs this country and has more power than what the President could ever have. War=money&oil. It seems like they start stuff and plant the seed just to get some crap started that ultimately leads to a conflict. Don't believe me? Well look it up, do you know what kind of weapons Gadaffi is using on his own people? BRITISH AND AMERICAN ONES. Ones that WE gave him, and now were surprised he's acting a fool. Look it up if you think Im lying. The thing is no one would ever let you know this. Gadaffi is evil, but wouldn't be as powerful as he was if it wasn't for the US and UK supplying him with weapons. See what I mean? They are just using the people in Libya as pawns to get the king in check, so it can be easier for the Military Industrial Complex run countries to get them in Checkmate. Its just a big game of chess, and yet people are only focusing on the pawns and not the larger pieces.

So a report on the feedback I have been getting

So far Im getting nothing but positive feedback, but I have been given a few suggestions and things I could do to make this blog better.

1. Upgrading the blog on a more consistent basis
2. I need to take a little more time editing the post before I post it, because sometimes there are a few post that are filled with a bunch of grammatical errors and stuff.

That's about it. I will take those two things into consideration, and I will work on the second one especially to make sure the post are much more "structured" (for lack of a better word). Nonetheless I want to thank everyone for the feedback. From those who emailed me, commented on the site, or even hit me up on facebook. I believe everything has room for improvement, and I would continue to work towards making this blog better. If you still wanna send me feedback regardless if you love or hate my blog, email me @ notimeforsmalltalk@yahoo.com. I'm glad to hear that everyone loves it, and I will continue to make this blog as awesome as I can. Thanks again

I really think this situation in Egypt and Libya is deeper than we are led to believe

Some people might call me crazy and a conspiracy theorist after this but whatever. Someone said "those who dont know history are doomed to repeat it. I think that the CIA and our government has some role behind these revolutions that are taking place overseas. I believe that it is possible because we have done the EXACT same thing before. Back in the 1950s Mohammad Mossadegh, was the leader of Iran. He made one big error that screwed him up forever. He attempted to nationalize the oil fields in Iran, and in doing so he wouldnt have to be under control of the west when it came to oil. The UK and America wasnt having that one bit and got Kermit Roosevelt in addition to the CIA to start protest which painted Mossadegh as being a cruel and evil leader, and essentially starting civil unrest to get the people revolting. In the end Mossadegh was ousted out of power and replaced with a US puppet leader in the Shah, who ruled the country with an iron fist and did so freely because he was protecting US interest overseas. I am convinced that the same type of thing is going on now. Oil is the currency of the world, so I have no doubt that oil is somehow connected in this situation. Speaking of oil, I have been doing some reading on the situation and it doesnt look pretty. Expect gas prices to sky rocket soon. I even read somewhere that Gaddafi said that if he goes down hes gonna bomb all the oil fields in Libya. Although the US is not really dependent on Libyan oil as much as the UK is, still expect a huge ht coming up. It is more than possible to see 5$ a gallon gas in the near future. Now Im reading about talks to possibly invade Libya. Things happen for a reason, there is definitely some kind of endgame in place. Im going to continue doing some more research on the subject but I am convinced that these recent revolutions have some hidden, sneaky, well planned out, tomfoolery within it

Ode to My favoritest teacher Ever...Mr Conners :)

In every man or woman's life they come across a teacher that inspires them to do better, one that challenges their thinking and gets them to dig deep and pull out talents that they never knew they had...this is a story about a teacher who did absolutely none of this. My high school Chemistry teacher, Mr. Conners.
Mr Conners is a stereotypical loser. He is not a people person at all. To say he is a dick, is an insult to all male genitalia. He was the worst. He constantly smoked so he always had the horrible odor of dead hopes and dreams and cigarette smoke on him at all time. His breath was so far gone, that giving him a breath mint is like giving JFK a winnie the pooh bandage after he got shot. In otherwords its completely useless. He also had no sense of humor whatsoever. What does a game of operation in the hands of a toddler and Conners have in common? There both missing a funnybone. HE told the exact same jokes all the time, and the only kids that laughed were the ones who were trying to suck up to ensure they got a good grade. He told jokes about the following:
- how he hated barney and wanted to kill him
-how he took his niece or someone in his family to see Sesame street on ice (or something) and wanted to kill elmo cuz he hated elmo...(notice a trend here? lol)
- how he was going to fail a student and the students dad attempted to bribe him with a free meal at their restaurant, and how he ended up eating at the place and still failing the kid anyway
- how he sends kids to summer school
-some other nerdy chem jokes
(Thats all I could remember, I have to ask my younger brother if he remembers any, cuz we both had him and we both failed)

Now as you can tell from his "jokes'' that he is a relatively miserable person, except for one thing in his life that brings a smile to his face. If you guessed failing students, your right, but not the answer Im looking for. The thing that brought a smile to his face was none other than Higgins. Higgins is his small dog. When he brought Higgins to class that was the ONLY time I EVER seen him smile. HE was genuinely happy. I think Higgins was the only one who might have respected him...then again I doubt it lol. But now on to the main gripe. His work....He gave out some of the most hardest and annoying work out there. Wanna hear how hard it is? I cheated on many occasions and still failed cuz it was that hard. He always claimed something was so easy "Higgins could do this". Well if thats the case I would pay Higgins to do that stuff for me. His work was impossible. I even went to extra help (which was anything but) One time I went there to ask him a question and he replied "Im not answering that because I covered that in class". So I walked out and left. Conners made me hate going to school. My GPA suffered heavy due to this lonely miserable jabroni, but there was nothing I could do. I couldnt switch out or nothing because I liked my other classes and didnt want to go through the annoying process of updating my schedule. I toughed it out. In the end during the final I gave up and just started doodling on the exam (in addition to use the reliable process of "enie minie miney moe" to pick my answers). In the end of the year both my brother (who was a A-B+ range student) and myself had summer school because we failed his class. LOng story short we had a better chem teacher for summer school and actually understood it and aced it. HE also told us that Conners, back in the day, sent most of his class to summer school. He said that conners must have been a lot more looser now because out of 6 of us in summer school only 5 of us came from Conners class. Conners was hands down one of the worst teachers I ever had in my life. I dont wish any ill will towards the dude because his life is already pathetic enough as it is. Now Im a freshman in college with Deans List and all A's under my belt and laugh at my time back in Chem class. Wanna see how bad he stinks? RIP Dwayne McDuffie: An innovator in the world of comics

Dwayne McDuffie was a man of amazing  talents and abilities. He is a comic pioneer. He has played a major role in cartoons and comics for a long long time, and his works include Justice League, All Star Superman, and many wouldn't even know this but he is the creator of one of my favorite heroes, Static (in addition to the other Milestone heroes). He has had a major impact upon the comic world in addition to the world around him. He died today at 49. RIP Dwayne McDuffie

Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi deserves to die a painful &slow death...and other thoughts

This was done by Joe Rogan, and I completely agree with it. This corruption wont stop until the people rise up and finally say enough. Thats why if Ron Paul runs for President he automatically has my vote. The new boss (obama) is the same as the old boss, and now we need a change...a real change. We reap what we sow, and from what our government has been sowing, expect what comes out of it to be a complete disaster. This country gives the image of democracy, when in all actuality its nothing more than a government not run by the people, but by the powers that be. We also are driven by the same Military Industrial Complex that Eisenhower warned us about. Think im lying..what was the last "justified" war the US got involved in? WWII. That being said our troops who serve are heroes, but they seem to be just the pawns of the govt and special interest. We are sadly in the business of war profiteering. We got to war because it makes us money. Many people die due to these stupid wars, and yet we still get involved in them anyway because our government has some "end justifies the means" type of thinking. I for one have had enough.  I heard a few people make the case that America is the new Rome and how its gonna collapse sooner or later. I love this country, and wouldnt want to live anywhere else, but I have to be real...if we as a country keep going the way were going, sooner or later we are going to collapse. If you watch the video and think its BS, do some research, Its all there. Speaking of which I read recently that this guy Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi finally came out and admitted to lying about the WMDS. As a matter of fact it was partly because of his BS testimony that we went to war with Iraq in the first place. This douchebag should be sent to Guantanamo, get his balls cut off, raped repeatedly by inmates, and slowly tortured till he dies. As a matter of fact if he gets cancer and drops dead, I dont think thats a good enough punishment for what he did. His stupid lie cost this country not only a lot of money but it cost us the lives of many troops and innocent iraqi civilians overseas. His little lie did so much harm than good. We should just pull out all the troops from overseas and send that guy, Bush, and every politician who voted for the war over there and let them fight. I love this country, but the people in charge are completely incompetent

My opinion on the popular myth known as the American Dream....

In the last post I did I mentioned the "American Dream". That might be one of the biggest misconceptions of all time. The American Dream is so weird, and it seems like nowadays you don't even need to put any work in and still come out with the rewards. We have a struggling and nearly non existent middle class, working hard to achieve this "American Dream" and yet we have some random broads who sleep with Tiger Woods who seem to obtain it effortlessly. It's a shame how in society that people who have one(maybe more) nights of sex with a famous person gets to obtain more than someone working multiple jobs. I was on WWTDD (What would Tyler Durden Do...Great site) and they have a story about how Kim Kardashian made 65 million last year. ( http://www.wwtdd.com/2011/02/the-kardashians-made-65-million-last-year/) What is she famous for? All she did was have a sextape with Ray-J and sleep with Reggie Bush. Is that really worthy of all the fame and attention shes getting? I think not Speaking if which let me discuss athletes and actors and stuff. I LOVE sports and movies, but still how is it that in society we value an actor/actress or athlete over people who make actual difference like doctors, teachers, ect. Think about it all athletes and actors do is stuff we did as kids. We all played sports as kids, it's no big deal, and yet they get millions. If you think about it actors get paid to essentially play "make believe". That isn't right, but I'm not hating on them, they worked hard to get to that point and some do some really good work with their money, but still the fact that we place people who entertain us over people that get results is horrible. If I was having a heart attack on a plane and there were doctors and also an actor who played a doctor, I would much rather want the real doctor to help me. Also while I'm speaking of actors, we put so much money into bad movies, and that money could easily put towards better purposes. If I ruled the world, if someone makes a bad movie they should be required to pay 50% of the budget of the movie to charity and also be required to do 60 hours of community service. That way people would work hard to make good movies and also people are getting help. How will we determine what movie is bad? Easy, any movie that gets lower than a 49% on Rotten Tomatoes. For example Im just gonna come out and say Big Mommas house 3 is going to SUCK. Some say, dont judge a book by its cover, but sometimes my prejudice is right. Look at this and tell me if it looks good? It looks like trash, and yet the people in it get paid more than any teacher, doctor, nurse, ect.

Justin Beiber is a Jabroni...He actually said Canada is the best country in the world?!

First off let me preface this by saying, I love all my Canadian Readers/Supporters.....now that I got that out the way....
In the newest issue of Rolling Stone, there is an interview with Justin Beiber. I of course ignored most of it, until my eye caught something crazy he said. He says Canada is the best countries in the world.....what kinda crazy talk is that?!? Heres his exact quote:
The Canadian-born Bieber never plans on becoming an American citizen. "You guys are evil," he jokes. "Canada's the best country in the world." He adds, "We go to the doctor and we don't need to worry about paying him, but here, your whole life, you're broke because of medical bills. My bodyguard's baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. In Canada, if your baby's premature, he stays in the hospital as long as he needs to, and then you go home."
I stopped at "Canada is the best country in the world". I couldnt read much more. Shouldnt Justin Beiber be saying "America is the best country in the world" because if it wasnt for a bunch of stupid American adolescent and little girls he wouldnt be as successful and as rich as he is now? Like this one:

By the way now that Im on the topic of Justin Beiber's retarded fans, they are really talking this Grammy loss way too seriously. Newsflash retards "Justin loss, not you". Some of you are gonna say " but your pissed when the PAtriots loss", but thats different. How, you ask? BECAUSE THE PATS LOSING DOESNT CAUSE ME TO MAKE LEGIT DEATH THREATS TO ANYONE. Yes, you read that right. There are some Justin Beiber fans, who are sending death threats to Esperanza Spalding (winner of the award that night). Its not that serious. Build a bridge and GET OVER IT. As a matter of fact, wanna see one of these "death threats" lol...here goes:
"WATCH OUT ESPERANZA SPALDING ... "BE CAREFUL CUS MORE THAN 7 MILLION GIRLS OUTHERE WANT TO KILL YOU, INCLUDING ME."
^^^^^^ Isnt that pathetic? I digress....back to the main point....

The US is the best country in the world! HEre are the Top 3 reasons (or the first three that pop into my head)

1. Americans pay less for stuff Canadians pay more for.
(ever go into a store and look at something you want, and you see the price on it? Lets say its a book. On the back it says the book in the USA is 12.99, and you look and you see Canada 18.99. You might think to yourself, " wow thats kinda high, but hey at least im paying less than Canada" I went to MOntreal when I was 15 and I was bored out my mind. Not to mention I couldnt speak French, so I was confused, and bored. So my family and I went to the mall, and I was about to buy something to end my boredom until I realized how expensive things are up there....America is better because even with inflation, our prices are cheaper than Canada)

2. In America EVERYONE can succeed.
Justin Beiber wasn't a worldwide hit in CAnada huh? nope. He was a worldwide hit AFTER he came to AMERICA. In America ANYONE can succeeded. We even let complete idiots get a chnce to get a part of this American Dream. For Example:

and also where else, but America would pay that annoying broad from Teen Mom (wait, there all annoying) Amber Portwood, 280,000$ a YEAR, for doing practically nothing? I bet Canada wont do that? Nope. Foreign players come to play for the NBA, people come to America to extend their fan base. Also on top of that, most of the famous Canadians, only became really famous once they got to America

3. America is just better

Why I refuse to eat at Old Country Buffet

Well This story takes place a few years ago. Two years to be exact. Anyway the job I was working with C.E.Y. had just finished their youth retreat and decided to take the youth to Old Country for dinner. I was hesitant because the last time I was in Old Country I seen a guy take a doo-dee, walk out the bathroom (didnt warsh his hands btw) and go STRAIGHT FOR THE FOOD. I was disgusted. I made sure I saw where he went so I wont go there myself. Anyway back to the C.E.Y. thing. So it was free food, they paid for us, and the thing is because I dont trust other ppl's cooking, instead of grubbing out like the others did I just had some fries, chicken fingers, a burger and some of that apple crisp thing (which sucked, I can and have made better) So it was whatever, the day ended I went to bed and I woke up feeling like crap. You could say I had "morning sickness" I woke up early in the morning and started throwing up. It was a lot like this

except in my case I was on my knees, clutching the toilet bowl, and just vomiting my heart out. It was horrible. I vomited so much even an bulimic would be horrified. I then felt dizzy and didnt really want to eat or do anything but sleep. THis continued on for 3 days. Then my mom recommended I go to the doctor. I found out that I had food poisoning/viral infection. It was miserable. So ever since Old Country Buffet  gave me food poisoning I REFUSE to eat there. I would take my semi-chubby behind and WALK to the nearest whatever than eat Old Country's Crap.

Another African Scam that got into my inbox

(Heres the email in its entirety...tell me this doesnt sound like tomfoolery)

Dear God's elect,

I am writing this mail to you with heavy tears In my eyes and great sorrow in my heart, My Name is Mrs Christabel Brown, and I am contacting you from my country Tunisia I want to tell you this because I don't have any other option than to tell you as I was touched to open up to you.

I married to Mr. Smith Brown who worked with Tunisia embassy in Burkina Faso for nine years before he died in the year 2005. We were married for eleven years without a child.

He died after a brief illness that lasted for only five days. Since his death I decided not to remarry, When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of US$ 8.5m (Eight Million Five hundred Thousand Dollars) in a bank in Ouagadougou the capital city of Burkina Faso in west Africa. Presently this money is still in the bank.He made this money available for exportation of Gold from Burkina Faso mining.

Recently, my Doctor told me that I would not last for the period of seven months due to cancer problem. The one that disturbs me most is my stroke sickness. Having known my condition I decided to hand you over this money to take care of the less-privileged people, you will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct here.

I want you to take 30 Percent of the total money for your personal use and your family. While 70% of the money will go to charity" people in the street and helping the orphanage. I grew up as an Orphan and I don't have anybody as my family member, just to endeavour that the house of God is maintained. Am doing this so that God will forgive my sins and accept my soul because these sicknesses have suffered me so much.

As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the bank in Burkina Faso and I will also instruct the Bank Manger to issue you an authority letter that will prove you the present beneficiary of the money in the bank that is if you assure me that you will act accordingly as I Stated here.
Hoping to receive your reply:

Mrs. Christabel Brown

(I get emails like this on a pretty regular basis. Before I got an email telling me that my relative (who I was not related to in ANY WAY. Was in a car explosion (a little too dramatic, dont ya think?) and left me a 7 million dollar inheritance. I laughed at that email and considered sending them some fake info to see what would happen, but I decided against it. It seemed like after that Nigerian tried to scam me on craigslist EVERYONE is coming out with their sob story in hopes to get in my pocket.

The Power of the internet

So currently In Egypt there is a huge protest and rebellion going on. One of the numerous reasons this is happening is due to the President Mubarak shutting down the internet in Egypt. The internet is a powerful tool. The internet is a way for you to let your voice be heard worldwide. The ironic thing that many of you dont know about is that they are working on similar legislation here in America. The thing is they arent gonna come right out and say that because they dont want Egypt-style protest here in the Untied States of China...er i mean America.  They know the power of the internet. And although we are given the image of "free speech" the reality is we dont have that here at all. For example look at the Fairness Doctrine, and the recent news about the proposed idea of giving the FCC over the internet. That being said they know that if protest like that breaks out here, that they are ready. They have the sound cannons, trained riot squads and all that all ready. Heres a video of the sound cannons if you aint familiar

In the end, we can learn a lesson from whats going on in Egypt. The lesson is there is a power in your voice, and by shutting down or attempting to make a limit on your voice, your only setting yourself up for a rebellion. Included are a few links of news stories
